Rhinoplasty (Corrective Nose Surgery)

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wanted to change the shape or size of your
nose? If you have, the cosmetic surgery procedure to do that is called Rhinoplasty
or Corrective Nose Surgery. Rhinoplasty is sought after to correct minor deformities
or to improve ones own opinion of their nose. Some people choose to have their nose
made slightly larger, while others choose to have the size lessened.

A surgeon can give you all the necessary information and help you to choose the nose you want. However, be sure the reason that you are having the surgery done is for you. Do not ever let someone else talk you into Rhinoplasty unless that someone is a medical professional. A doctor may suggest that you have Rhinoplasty done to correct a birth defect or deformity. If they do, they have medical training and know what they are talking about. You should strongly consider having the surgery done if your doctor suggests it.

Nose surgery is one of the most popular of the cosmetic surgeries. If you are self conscious about the look of your nose, then talk to your doctor and see if this is a good chose for you.

When you are having Rhinoplasty done, make sure to follow the advice of your surgeon both prior to and after your surgery. Make sure to take any and all medication as directed and to avoid the sun after your surgery unless you use a minimum of SPF 20.

Having Rhinoplasty can greatly improve your own opinion of how you look. However, like any surgery there are risks associated with Rhinoplasty.
